Buckwheat Neck Pillow

The buckwheat neck pillow from Makura is called “Comfort Roll Pillow” and provides you with proper support and comfort. Makura its a company that began its activity in 1984 and focused on producing the best buckwheat hull pillows in US. They had chosen the name “Makura” because this is the Japanese correspondent for “pillow”. The materials used are buckwheat hulls and they basically are the hard shells that protect the buckwheat.

* Noise.  Because is dried and planty, so to say it, the buckwheat can make a crunchy noise. This isn’t something very bad and people said that they got used to the noise in several days.
* Too firm support. The hulls are not the softest thing in the world, so this is quite logical. Some clients needed more time to get used to this type of pillow and some never did.
* Tricky height. Unlike other pillows, with the buckwheat one you can test to see which height suits you best, because the pillow won’t change it’s size under the pressure of your head. You do this by simply removing or adding some hulls and several customers said that they find the whole process a bit annoying.
